One thing this site is good for is making me feel kind of inadequite, lol. Some of you have GREAT shops. Anyway my garage was here when I bought and is not ideal. It is level with the ground around it so water cant run away from it. I worry about the sills and studs rotting out. I think I could figure out a way to put a row of block around the perimeter but it would probably be a pain. Is this feasible or is there a better idea? thanks, Steve.

It is very feasible.
We have done threads on lifting buildings from 20 x 20 to 40 x 60.
Do a search.
BTW once you have it up in the air, I would go with 3 rows of block. That will give you two feet and you can go with a nice high door.

BTW.
All this is assuming you already have a good gutter and downspout system that takes the water at least 5 feet away from the wall. 10 feet is better.
