My wife is being moved to another church this summer and we are prepping our home for sale. The hot tub will not be staying. A few years ago I installed a secondary control in the wall of our bedroom so that we wouldn't have to go outside to turn the tub from sleep to heat (we use it only during the winter months).
Now I need to fix the wall. The control is about 3 by 6 inches in size. I'm familiar with drywall repair but I am not familiar with the texture we have on our walls. It is obviously sprayed on and I think it is sprayed on plaster that is then painted. How would I go about matching a repair into the existing texture of this wall? If it is sprayed is that a tool that can be rented?
I'm also toying with the idea of just letting a pro come in and take care of it, but like a lot of you I'm sure, a part of me dies every time I have to do that.
