Want information on tile for new workshop

My first post! I am just finishing my dream workshop for radio control airplanes. It is 33' x 27'. It has to hold up to occasional model airplane fuel dripping. I love the look of tile (not plastic motoflooring) but tile like you see on commercial floors that go down with adhesive, and are coated with the shinny finish afterward. I would like to do the black and white squares, kind of the 50's look. I would be interested in picking your collective brains on what kind of tile holds up the best in garages and does anyone have pictures of their projects done in these colors with tile? If it's too much trouble I will do epoxy but would love tile. Thanks in advance for the info!

I think you're talking about Armstrong vinyl composition tile, as used in many stores ?

You're probably not going to be putting that heavy a load into the floor (assuming your 'shop doesn't double as your garage) so my main concern would be chemical resilience. I would suggest getting one tile, wiping some fuel on it, and leaving it for a few days to see what happens. Paraffin leaves permanent marks on VCT if not mopped up immediately, and model aircraft fuel is pretty chemically 'lively'.
