Title says it all, need to be around 5.5" OD. I have been able to find these online for anywhere between $25 to over $60 but if you have one that you are not using, I will be glad to pay you decent money for it. Thanks

I may have something like this. I have an old shopping cart full of old pulleys. I will check, does the v-belt size matter?

The belt size is 23/32". The pulley that I need has to be 2 grooved, 1-1/8" bore and between 3.5" to 5.0" in diameter. Currently I have a 5.5" pulley but the calculated RPM for my setup is maxed out so I would like to bring it down some. I appreciate your link and I found some 3.5" pulley for around $12 but the $13 shipping seems a bit high. I know that a few guys on this forum will have these laying around so .... :).

So I take it the top width of the belt is 23/32"? Are you sure on that? Reason I ask is that is close to the common B size v belt which is 21/32" wide.

They will have to pay shipping as well. :headscrat

Just FYI, there is a wanted to buy section on the forum here. Your ad would be more suited to that section.

You could also check ebay.

USPS Priority Mail flat rate for a 10" x 6" or 10" x 7" box cost less than $6.

You are correct, belt size is 21/32 and not 23/32. Difference of 2/32, not a biggie.

Trying to close this tread but unsuccessful.

Pulleys on ebay cost north of $30.00, I want to pay less. Don't think a pulley is worth that much, not an air compressor pulley.

I find people that state this honestly don't know what goes into shipping a package. You have to pay for tape, shipping supplies and someones time to package it. Along with making a packing slip and getting it to the PO or out the to mail box. Add in the fact that it is more then likely a generic rate.

Put an ad in the wanted to buy section on here.

Why don't you put an ad on craigslist. That is usually where the beggars like you hang out.

23/32 vs 21/32. No not really a big difference, but you were not correctly stating what belt size of pulley you want to buy. That is commonly called a B size belt.

What do you think you should pay for a used pulley, shipped to your door?

Edit, also where are you located?

I want a Ferrari, but don't think they are worth the price. So what. Just because you don't think it is worth it, doesn't mean that someone should just give it to you.

Wahhahahahah, thanks, I now know your kind. But enough said, I am not going to your level. Could impress you if I wanted, like a picture of my house, perhaps my paycheck, or picture of my garage... but why would I waste my time limiting myself to your level. Your where helpful in your first link, which I thanked your for and then you went downhill from there. Some people you can reason with, some you can impress and some you can please. Some will have no class.

Congratulations, you just shot yourself in the foot with that remark.
Best of luck in your endeavors.

Ironically enough I do have a pulley for you 5" OD exact, and was going to offer it depending on what you said you wanted to pay for it. Not now.

BTW, the "beggar mentality" that I refer to has nothing to do with income, house, garage, education, etc. Again just going to show your true colors.
