SNAPMOM The AT tools I am looking for are from tool kits for airplanes from WORLD WAR TWO. I have two kits that are missing quite a few tools. The WHITWORTHS you mention are probably exactly what I am looking for. Dont know for certain without seeing the AT number on them. I dont know for sure what the AT stood for,but it was for the ARMY AIR CORP. Others that I need are sockets,spanners, and other special hand tools.
I am a collector of snap on, blue point whitworth, and have maybe two of the AT wrenches, have never seen a AT socket. Snap on made airplane specials, most all were SAE, Model numbers were like W-850 and Y-900.

The Whitworth AT tools were made for the PACKARD built ROLLS ROYCE Merlin engines shipped to the war in EUROPE. Each engine had a tool kit in the box with it. Makes sense them being in the U.K. Just to clarify a bit. ROLLS ROYCE made service tools as well but they were not marked AT, or
