If you have anything that looks like it belongs on this board, please let me know. There are no part numbers on the board for the tools, so part of what we are going to have to do is use measurements. Thanks for any leads. :)

Bull did you get an exact fix on the pipe-wrench. I just found "this post" & located this like you've probably seen. Is the pipe-wrench something in this vein except labeled Fleet or Penens. Size?

Chisel & punches.... Would these and/or the screwdriver's be more like Rickster's or a Miller Falls type?

I believe that the chisels/punches and the pipe wrench should all be labeled "Fleet" as opposed to "Penens" just based on what the logo on the board says. I don't see any punches/chisels in Rickster's kit, and as for the screwdrivers I can't tell if any are a match. That will be a tough one.

I have this Fleet tool kit I picked up, would you be interested in something like this?

That would be awesome. I can send a polite reminder if necessary :)

Rickster, it'd be a shame if I bought that whole kit to cannibalize. It looks like the DOE wrenches might be a match...I'd have to get you some measurements of the tool outlines to compare to what you have. Can't tell if a screwdriver in there is a match. The rest, although nice tools, I would not have an immediate use for.

check it out! these suckers were in my parents junk drawer my whole childhood! they are in pretty good shape. that is weak chrome on the business end tho'. they are 6 3/8 inches long from end to end.
i'd trade you something if you want them. i'll take anything for them; 6" crescent style wrench, any tool with a green handle (making a set to match my van interior< gay i know), or anything channellock

Sent pictures earlier today via pm-let me know if you received.:headscrat

Dan, the link that you sent me this afternoon just opens up my e-mail program...not sure where it is supposed to take me but that's what happens.

I am printing out the measurements you are sending me for the DOE wrenches and will compare them to the outlines on the board. Pics of the wrenches will also help, too.

Thanks a lot!

Awesome, Mike. Let me measure the board and look to see if I have anything on your "wanted" list as posted above.:)

Bump. Still looking for the adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, screwdrivers, punches/chisels, and DOE wrenches. I have some DOEs coming this week, but I am not convinced that they will be the correct ones for the board.

Bull: Are you still looking for Fleet open-end wrenches? Attached is a picture of the only wrench from Fleet I’ve got; it’s a 3/4 x 5/8, model 5024. It’s approximately 8 ½" end-to-end. It’s very similar, but not quite identical, to the wrenches in Rickster’s photo.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the message. I think that Fleet must have used the same part number for its wrenches over the years while changing the design. I have another 5024 that I just picked up. It fits the outline on the board fairly well...not perfectly. Yours seems to be a newer variety, with a slightly different head thickness and angle. At least, that's what it looks like from the picture. Let me double-check my board tomorrow, but I think I have that size covered.

I have a set of the open end wrenches that look like they would fill that board.

Let me know if your interested and I'll see what sizes, dimensions and what the part numbers are and can snap a pick. I believe the set is 4 pieces starts at 3/8 and ends at 3/4. Its out in my work van. Not really looking to sell them but you could use them more than me for your board. I can always snag another used set of a different brand off Ebay.

Will, I would be interested in learning what you have. I have at least one of each of the first four sizes if wrenches, but am missing the last, largest wrench.

I thought the wrenches I had were a complete set but I was mistaken.

Here's what I have:

The two of the 5/8 / 3/4 are the same size and identical except a one digit difference in the part#. The large one appears to be identical to one that was already posted so I assume the one you need is one step larger.

Yes, the one I am missing is one step larger than the largest you have.

If those are ever in danger of becoming abused orphans, please let me know. Otherwise, I should save my limited dollars for the tools I don't have any examples of currently.

I really do appreciate the time you took to reply and take photos, though. Thank you.

They are already orphans, they are part of a loose bag of wrenches in my work van. I still use them now and again. Unfortunately all my tools in my van are abused. Even if I don't use them the chrome get scratched and wore out from rattling around while driving. Unfortunately thats the way it goes.

Good luck with your search. I got those wrenches off Ebay when I was on a vintage tool bender. I've since recovered and switched to a German tool craze.

Was at a great garage sale today. Had to pass on tons of good USA stuff. However, when I saw some unusual Fleet, I thought of you and picked them up.

Open end wrenches:

#5732 1" and 15/16" excellent condition, great chrome, script logo.

#5022 11/16" and 19/32" matt finish, italic logo. You can have them both for $10 shipped Flat Rate.

thnx, jack vines
