Got this set at an estate sale this weekend. I don't usually buy Ward's tools but I don't think I've ever seen any early (mid 1930's) ward's 3/4" before, so couldn't leave it behind. Looks to be Duro/Indestro sourced, they made a set #2210 that looks the same. This one is missing the 1-1/8" socket.

That is very cool! Can you take a close-up of the label?

Take a picture of the socket markings. I think I have you're missing socket and if so, you can have it.

You sure that's not Truth sourced? Can we see the full sockets?

I'll third that on the sockets. As far as I now, except for a brief use by Herbrand on a line of tappet wrenches, nobody else used the full precious metal name ("Chromium") in their branding and the marking format on the WARD's version (I have 1/2-inchers) is the same on the house version.

To tell the TRUTH I'm not sure who made these but lean towards Duro/Indestro. Anybody know for sure?

Sorry bud, there's nothing in my oddball collection like that. I have maybe a half dozen of old 3/4" miscellaneous sockets that were in my dads collection but that isn't one of them. Good luck on your quest (if it is one) and congrats on picking up a unique set.

Nice find and thanks for the socket picture. Looks like Duro.

I was curious as well because I had never seen a drive tool marked Riverside, only wrenches. Neat to see the box.

Thanks anyways LX, it was a long shot at best. I'm very patient, it took years to complete my Plomb wrench collection.
