warehouse access issues

I did a search an I have not found anything on this topic.

We are looking at the possibility of some great shop space in an old warehouse, however the only access is by loading docks. The sidewalk is right against the building, and then the street, and it is all right down town Phoenix. The owner is open to working with us, and there is possibly old rail road space between buildings where a ramp could be built.

has anybody here built ramps to get up into dock level buildings? it would be especially difficult with the low cars we work on.

At the local Overnite hub they cut the front of a semi trailer out and cut the jacks off to make a ramp for the forklift.

I would look into a "drive on drive off" lift as an elavator.
