We put electric heating mats under a tile floor in a large bath. I can't remember the name of the mats (thankfully they are working now) but we're having trouble with the thermostat.
The display will disappear. If we "play with it", the various components of the data on the display will flash and look "wonky". Then the display will be OK, but the program must be reset. Then the floor heats as it should.
We've looked at it, seated and reseated the "front part" from the base, nothing has worked so far.
I suspect that the connection (pins) from the front part to the base aren't making good contact.
Any suggestions? or just bite the bullet and buy another heated floor thermostat? If so, what are the recommendations. I want to bring this to closure?
