Warning www.Superlifts.com scam

www.Superlifts.com apparently has closed down temporarily. They took my $3800 deposit and never delivered a lift or refunded any money and now they are closed. Don't become a victim as I did.. stay away from www.Superlifts.com.

Note: I paid a $3800 deposit on a $7800 single post lift (included delivery and install). I piad April 12, 2011, was supposed to be installed May 15, 2011. It's now Aug 11, 2011 and I never rec'd a car lift nor my money back and now they are not answering the phone. Apparently they have done this before (last year they were Superior Lifts and had the website www.superlifts.com) this year they were superlifts... wonder what their next name will be. Dustin Rose the fast talking salesman told me he plans to own the place and re open it whe the dust settles.

Run, run far away and don't get taken by they fraudulent scammers like I did. In this day and age, if a company blatantly steals from you and never delivers a product and keeps your money-- we have to spread the word via the internet so they can't keep doing it.

You put that deposit on credit card, right? Just call your card company and request a chargeback.

Looks like the owner is in some trouble and this isn't the first time. Defrauding someone over the internet is wire fraud, you could potentially involve the FBI. Chances are unless it's a big case though, they're not interested... the guy will claim he fell on hard times/etc. and couldn't deliver, and fraud wasn't the intention.

Yes I did file a CC dispute (hope it goes thru as its been 4 months and there is often a 60 day dispute period).

Filed a complaint with the FL Attorney General.

One of those Rip-Off reports was the one I just filed today, the other is someone else.

I called Barrett-Jacksons vendor manager (superlifts is an exhibitor at all their events), to complain about their sponsor/exhibitor. They were very nice and said they have already removed Superlifts, had 8 complaints in the last week already about them, the President of Barrett-Jackson was personally stiffed on his own lift, and that they are activly seeking them (Keith Goolsby and Dustin Rose).

Whether I get my $ or not just want you to beware of these guys.

Buying another single post lift direct from the real manufacturer of the single post lifts (Gemini in TX).
