Recently went to Rex supply in Conroe, Texas to get a 5/16 and 1/4 Wright tools combination wrench warranted cause they are bent. Rex supply told me sense they are part of a set I have to return the set to get the 2 combination wrench warranted. It does not seem right that I have to return a set that worth around 2,000 dollars just for somthing that are not even worth half that amount and which happen to be my only tools. If I had to send all my tools back then I would not be able to work my job.Can any one here confirm what Rex supply is telling me is correct and tell me more about the Wright tools and Rex supply warranty policy.

Its the holidays, so may take some time, but your best shot is to talk to Wright directly, could be either way or they might take the view that wrenches only bend from abuse or alteration.

Mean time buy a set of GearWrench or Craftsman during one of the sales, cheaper than shipping.

Source? Snap-on does not own Wright Tool.

Correct, Snap-on does not own Wright. Snap-on owns Williams, which is probably what that member was mistakenly thinking of.

To the OP-
That seems sort like BS. But how did you "bend" a wrench? Are these brand new tools that have a QC problem?

I'm guessing they're just trying to get out of warrantying the items either because they don't want to go through the hassle or they think your items don't fall under the warranty.

And I've emailed Wright before and they called me after a couple days. If you want a faster response, you're going to have to call them, probably.
