Dad was a machinist for 35 years, before he switched over to HVAC for the last 10 years before retirement. Now retired for at least 8 years, he gave mea tool box with a few old tools he used as a machinst in the long gone Peerless Pump manfacturing plant that was once located in Pico Rivera CA.

I've had plenty of uses for Brown and Sharp micrometer and Vernier Caliper sets he gave me. Also measured endplay a few times on my current SBF engine build using the Craftsman magnetic base / brown & sharp dial indicator.

These are some of the tools that I'm not sure if I have any practical uses for, although I won't get rid of them.

Any idea on what the tools in the Starrett box are for and what might be missing on the top right?
