Local Jr col Flea market I hit once a month occasionally has some decent stuff at decent prices.
Today everything I actually bought was a buck except for the hammer handle. that was $2...
I did pass on a few items where they wanted more than what I was willing to pay. ("But it's USA! if you want cheap I have Chinese over here!")
I'm at the point that generally I don't "need" the tools, I just want em, so I try to keep things on a "good/great" deal basis.
The tiny needle nose are really tiny, and appear to be good quality in spite of being an unbranded set.
Is it sacrilege to put a snap on octagon grip handle on a Proto/Plumb 1427 Planishing/bodywork hammer head?
The brake tool is also Snap on. The 3/8 Breaker bar is war years Plvmb. The Jeweler's saw frame is "Germany" and has "PEEL" stamped, in but I believe that is a PO name.
The wood clamp appears to have had little use. this was the only item not from the Flea market, but was still only a buck.
It's marked "#10 GOTHAUER CLAMP CO. Okla. City"
I found this on line (For what it is worth).
The only other thing I got today was a free aluminum square camp skillet (Camping is my other "collecting" disease...); grungy beyond belief, and crowned in the middle. I wire wheeled the worst of the bottom side grunge, SOS'ed and Scotch brighted the cooking surface, and carefully flattened the crown out. It doesn't look half bad, and will fit 4 slices of french toast perfectly!

Gothauer is the only wooden clamp maker known west of the Mississippi.
Oklahoma City was founded in 1889, shortly after the Land Run. By 1890, there were city directories. Gothauer does not appear in any OK City directory from 1890 to 1950.
One explanation is that the firm existed only before 1890. Another is that the firm was too small or too transient to be entered in the directory.
Nothing is known of Gothauer, the firm or the person
