washing bikes during the winter

does anyone have any thoughts/experience washing off salt/dirt inside a garage in the winter?

i am 25% through a project and have some flexibility designing walls/flooring/plumbing to set up a bike wash area. i'd appreciate thoughts by those who've tread this space before...

I'm pretty sure you're talking about MOTORCYCLES but when I ride my BICYCLE in the rain I hose it off under a "canopy" and dry it off before I bring it back into the garage.

Keep a squeegee on hand to push the excess water away. And be careful, the water can freeze quickly and create a slipping hazzard.

Ha! yes, i meant motorcycle, but thanks for the tip on bicycles... my kids will appreciate that.

Try a stuff called ONR. Its made by a company called Optimum. NR stands for No Rinse. Basically add 2 oz to a few gallons and you can wash with no rinsing. It works good for this time of year, not as good as a conventional wash in my mind.
