Washing Car on Epoxy Garage

I like to wash my car inside the garage. Does sitting water damage the garage floor (assuming it is epoxyed with a clear coat)?

Also, is it absolutely necessary to diamond grind the edges of my garage? I ask because my grinder will not reach the very edges (inner once 2 inch border).

Thanks!

The water won't damage the floor at all. I would recommend applying a non-skid additive to the top coat so you won't have to worry about slipping on the floor. Any standing water after you are done can easily be squeegeed out.

You should acid etch the edges of your floor if you don't have a grinder. A sander with 60 grit paper might do the trick for a small area like that as well.
