Hello all I have a bit of an odd question for you. So my mom has this washing machine that floods the area around it in the basement like a day job.
We figured out how its flooding and leaking but I cant figure out the why. When the washing machine is at rest. (filling up. draining. no load) the wash basin (barel what have you) does not sit perfect. It sits kind of low. leaning towards the front right if your looking at the machine as tho your using it.
This my friends is the problem. when the machine fills some of the water splashes off the back and down the insides of the machine and thus onto the floor. So i took a quick peak (reak quick cuz I hate messing with **** down in the basement cuz its a mess) and I saw a assortment of springs and one spring appeared to have rusted through. Is this my culprit? do those springs pull and center the drum?
THANKS ALL
