I have an unfinished slab that is 75'x75' under a steel building. The slab extends about 10" beyond the front of the structure and a 60' bifold door is attached. Although the slab is extremely level, a heavy rain will allow some water to track under the door, causing a small pool inside the building. Before I finish the slab (probably epoxy) I was hoping to put down a small barrier to prevent water from coming inside the building. Is this an application for "self leveling compounds", or should I just put a thicker layer of epoxy along the floor near the door to encourage the water to flow out rather than in? Any advice would be appreciated.
