Water glass will it make sidewalk slippery?

Sidewalks and patio, just wondering since I have it, should I use it.
I'd like to seal my outdoor concrete.
Or should I just use a brand name sealer?

not interested in specialty coatings.

You can. It should not change the surface as it is penetrative.

The dry (unusual) Seattle weather should come to an end this weekend.
How long a dry spell (if at all) should one wait when applying this type of sealer?

Water glass is densifier. It does one hell of a job on an engine.
