My house is in Florida. There is a puddle of water in my garage when it rains. Please look at the photos at https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZZyy596QPmV1Vqwt6
Right now, I'm in France and I will come back to the house at Easter for 2 weeks only, and I will come back definitely in the house during summer. I'd like to fix that during my 2 weeks in Easter, I don't think I'll have time to fix it by myself. What is the specialty name of the worker that would fix that? I don't think a handyman could fix it, so another specialty must exist. I can also try to fix it myself if you let me know what to do. Right now, a small window is open in the garage in order to avoid mold inside.

From what I can see from the pics is that the ground outside might be too high.
Before bringing out the big guns make sure that the ground around the structure is graded sloping away about a 1/4” per foot for about 10’ out.
Other thing to check is the condition and where the gutters terminate.

If grading is okay or can not be done properly a french drain with a dry well might work.

Good luck.

How do you measure the grade? Click on https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32825051300.html
This device measure the angle, would this be good?

The simplest way to measure grade, use a 10' string with a line level, then measure down to the ground.
The french drain will be great getting the water away. You may need a sump pump, to move the water away faster.
Depending how fast your yard can drain water and the water table in the yard.

Thank you. What about this method of putting more soil, compared to the french drain? https://www.mmsd.com/what-you-can-do/managing-water-on-your-property/proper-grading-around-your-home
What is the name of the specialist that would install a french drain, and maybe a sump pump?

Florida being a wet state, I think you'd be better draining it.
I had 8 small dump truck loads of dirt hauled away from our yard in South Carolina.
The dirt was brought in by the former owners and was high around the slab foundation. we had water coming in also.
We had a 1/2 acre, and I was able to grade away from the house. We also trenched 20' lines for all the down spouts to get the water
away.
