water tight vs. open floor tile

I'm upgrading my garage and I'm stuck on the question of how to proceed with covering my 20-year old concrete garage floor. The floor is in relatively good shape, not a lot of oil or chemical spills. But it look shabby with some salt leaching and a few thin cracks. I'm strongly considering a plastic tile floor, primarily because of the appearance options. My concern is that we get a fair amount of snow and ice in Northeast Kansas and our streets get treated with salt. I'm concerned about moisture and salt working its way under the tile and further eroding the quality of the original concrete floor. Question: are there watertight tile options that are effective or should I be looking for a product like ribtrax by Swisstrax that allow moisture and debris to pass through the tile where it can be washed away later?

Not that I know of unless you want to do a glue down seamless floor like done in food service areas. Those can be expensive.
For me I would paint the floor with the less expensive garage floor paint or a less expensive epoxy and then put the race deck floor over it

I have the same concerns living in Wisconsin.
I decided against plastic floor tiles, just because of the mess that will build up under the tiles.
I plan to go with professionally installed Epoxy (I want some type of guarantee) when I get some cash together.

My personal preference would be one of three products. The TrueLock or Swisstrax ribbed product is perfect for this application. We have hundreds, perhaps thousands of installs just like it in this product. The open design makes it easy to clean.

The other option is to go completely the other direction and go with a product like the TrueLock PVC tile. I have black, light gray and dark gray going on say for $8.95 a tile (call me if it sale is not live yet). They are 19 5/8 x 19 5/8 and the mushroom locking system is virtually watertight.

How do you clean that?
Just grab the pressure washer and hose it out?

I think the biggest fear people have with open tiles is exactly that. The irony is it looks cleaner than any other solid product. You can shop vac through it if you need to and you can also pressure was or hose the floor out through it. Just be careful of your drywall
