Where are you located?

Waterloo Industries used to actually build boxes in Waterloo Iowa until let's say late 80s early 90s. Sometimes they'd have an employee sale where they or their families could buy boxes super cheap.

My point is, I still see a lot of that vintage Waterloo boxes in shops in the area. Place an ad on the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Craigslist.

I'm surprised that you guys are saying Waterloo is the same as Craftsman. I have an older Waterloo top box, and its a lot heaver duty than any Craftsman box I've ever seen.

Do they make the Craftsman boxes for Sears, and then make a different line with their own Name on it?

Never seen a Craftsman built like this top box!

Mm

They build several brands, used to know for who, but I'm not current on it.

My brother has a Mac box he bought new in the early 80s that I'd bet is a Waterloo.

Craftsman boxes had a sticker inside one of the drawers that had a model #, waterloo is probably the same. Most top, middle and bottom boxes are mix and match, don't think you would need a model # to find a compatible middle box, just the dimensions of your exisiting boxes.

IIRC, Northern Tool and Enco sell some Waterloo boxes.

I still have the three drawer Waterloo roller that my wife bought me for my birthday the month before we got married. Never match the color - I sprayed it metal flake purple LOL.
