waterloo Magnum bottom box

Hello to all, I have an older waterloo magnum bottom box, trying to figure out the cable locking system.. The cabinet has the lift up side piece to unlock each drawer, but it has a main lock that is rectangular, pull out and twist which works a cable system to bars in the back of the box.. Mine needs adjustment, does anyone know how to adjust it?

I had a 2 bay one of those with issues. Ended up selling it but I think a spring in there might have worn out.

You'll have to pull drawers out to get a good look at how it's operating and where the problem is. Might need a second person to operate the main latch so you can see what isn't working.

Dumbest effn system I've ever seen on a toolbox. Somewhere an engineer thinks they're smart for that.
