Thanks for posting. One of those boxes looks like the one I found at an El Cerrito, CA estate sale back in September of last year. Do you know what year the catalog is?

First box I bought when I entered the machinist trade was the 40526 model but didn't have the big Waterloo emblem on it, that was 1979

I couldn't locate anything with a date on it. My guess would be 70's?

I’d suspect 1975 from F 238-75 at the page footer.

I saw that, too, humber, but did you see that another page has "F 221-1"? That made me question the suffix date code format.

The "Telex" and "Cable" references definitely fit the 70's, though.

Since the f186-1 and f221-1 aren’t catalogs or price sheets, but manuals, it bothers me less that they don’t match the other, but does make me wonder. We need f238-76 for closure.

Bump this thread. Thanks for the info! I've had this box for 10-15 years. brought it off my MAC dealer for $300. Its been neglected for the last 5, but I just moved it from my shop into my garage where it will enjoy retirement. I gave it a quick cleaning yesterday, but feel a restoration for it in the future. Maybe new PPG, Adventure blue with yellow pin strips.
