I`m looking into buying a side box and have a few options.
I looked at proto boxes around $400 3,620 cubic inch cap. model #440ss.
Then harbor freight around $200 but not my ideal drawer set up and then there`s the chinese element.
Then the waterloo box @$427 draw set up is perfect the rep says their made in ohio and a cubic cap. of 5,663.
Or an older snappy but their hard to find so as of tonight the waterloo is #1.
Does anybody have any feedback?

I have a Waterloo top box that is 26" wide by 18" deep I believe. I just replaced it with a snap on 41" roll cab. The box has held up well for the last 8 years. I bought it on clearance at Lowes for 50 bucks. Figured I could not go wrong with that. Its a higher quality than cman of today. 8 years ago, probably about the same. I would say if it fits the need most importantly, then go for it!

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
I have a Waterloo UC410BU cart which is the same as the Craftsman 4 drawer cart, mine is made in China. It wasn't listed on the box, but there was a little piece of paper in the plastic bag with the hardware and instructions that said "Made in China". I then bought a TRX1606BU side cabinet, thinking TRX series is made in the US, nope, not even Mexico, Made in China. So they develop a series in the US and then shift the manufacturing to another country. All in all they are strong boxes, and I am contemplating buying a few more Waterloo 41" wide boxes.

my first rollcab was a waterloo.

it could not stand up to the weight. the rails were not happy and the casters *****. for about 1000CAD i thought it was a rip off. for 500 maybe.
i sold it to my foreman about a year or two later for a loss of 600, when i got my KRLs,
he doesnt pull wrenches anymore so he doesnt use it, more like storage.
its now leaning over on the front right caster and a drawer rail has already broken. warrantied sure, but it broke. thats kind of the point.

my 2cents

*oh and it was there 'heavy duty' model... second from the top of the line... maxx? i dunno
