This is the surviving half of a plug lockout.

On occasion, there is need to run a pair of long extension cords outdoors, and to leave them in place for upwards of a week. It would save downtime and plug ends to have the ability to waterproof the connection between them. Years ago, we tried using one of these lockout boxes, but they don't keep anything out but squirrels and meth addicts.

Is there a waterproof version of this sort of thing to be had? If so, what is the correct name for it?
