Waterproof underlayment for Racedeck?

I have a warehouse with low pile carpeting in one of my garage bays. I have used this space as office space in the past and may do so again in the future. The space is currently not utilized and I have been parking my Porsche directly on the carpet. I would like to be able to get a bit more use out of the space other than just parking for long periods of time so I have been toying with the idea of putting racedeck overtop of the carpet.
With racedeck not being water tight I am wondering if there is some kind of moisture barrier I could lay down before instillation? The space is not going to see heavy use as I have other bays for that, but would like to be able to pull in a wet car occasionally or be able to spill some coolant with fear of ruining the carpet beneath.

Any suggestions?

We would let Racedeck comment on any underlayments (They are an excellent company and do monitor the GJ).

Of bigger concern is that we don't think you can lay garage tiles over carpet, even low pile, as when the tiles compress into the carpet the joints will come apart. We have seen issues with tiles over carpet.

Make sure to check this with them. You could lay plywood or masonite on the carpet and then maybe tile over that?

Thanks for the reply. I had not considered the joints coming apart. I may have to buy a few square feet and test. The pile is only about 2mm thick and backed to a dense layer of vinyl so compression should be minimal. I doubt foot traffic on it would have issues, but parking might.

So we never really suggest putting a moisture barrier on top of any garage floor as most alway leach... but this is a unique application. First, our PowerLocks will not come apart on carpet*. The seams while not water tight, are very so small that it creates hydro-static tension keeping most fluids out...
If you porsche is leaking oil ( from turbos, trans, engine?) you could also do a small section of visqueen under the tiles in specific areas.

* our patented powerlocks are very durable and in some of our other products are used for applications over carpet, grass, sand, dirt, etc...

I have seen more than one horror story when people put membranes that don't breathe under any brand of tile. Use a containment mat or a drip mat for the car
