I'm considering waterproofing the span deck on our house when the time comes. I received a bid from a waterproofing company for about $1500 and got to thinking I might be able to do this myself for a lot cheaper.
I've been searching around this site a bit (the search feature here isn't very good) and searching the Internet but haven't come across anyone that has done this or come across a product that looks like it would work.
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction or offer any suggestions. I understand that it is highly recommended to waterproof the perimeter and the joints but I'm not sure what to use. What I have found is to use some kind of membrane but can't determine if this is a sheet/roll product or something that is sprayed on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
