Didn't know I needed one of those but what the hey, one will now be headed my way. I have the larger Fluke multimeter but this one will be handy to grab and use quickly.

Got mine this weekend, nice meter. Batteries were shot and corroded (the packaging was pretty yellowed too so these must be old stock). Replacements were another $7.

Yeah, my local Walgreens isn't the cheapest source for batteries but I didn't feel like waiting a week.

Just had to scrape off the terminal and blow out the battery compartment. Worked great after that.

Mine came awhile ago, it was new in new packaging. No battery issues. That was however at the other price from before

As long as the displays are good and unaffected by age then it's just fine. I did buy several units at the $15.99 price.

Receive mine today and it looks great. It functions well also but I see that the batteries have a little bit of corrosion on them so I'm going to order replacements from the link posted above.

Got mine today as well. Didn't bother to open it up to look at the battery- it works fine!

Got mine in yesterday as well. both units had corrosion on the batteries. One would power on and the other had more corrosion. I just cleaned all the batteries and they both power on. Ill pick up some more batteries from amazon. There was no corrosion on the leads of the unit itself.
