I have a garage floor that has seen 27 years of neglect. This summer (if it ever comes) I was going to rent a concrete polisher from Home Depot and then I was thinking about just waxing the concrete. Has any one else done this?

Thanks

Similar, but at work I had the floors ground.
Then once a year it have them come in and do a strip and wax with a machine.
We run fork lifts, carts, and lots of foot traffic all year.
Floor holds up great and sweeps us easy

After researching floor covering for ages, I'm sick of the whole process.

Something as simple as wax sounds great. Is it slippery when wet or has a layer of sawdust? Any idea what kind of wax they use?
