A new customer really wanted his dad's compressor rebuilt and unit refurbed and we worked out a deal to get it done over the winter. He sent me some pictures that didn't identify it but I took a chance and gave him the estimate which he accepted. Went over there and pulled the unit out in 3 pieces. It's. 1959 Wayne 2 stage 1-1/2 hp unit. It's so nice. Right now as it sits on my cart. I have a Kellogg 331 on the bench when that's done being rebuilt I'll start to tear down this one and show you guys progress.

Looks like a fun project. I may be getting a similar compressor from work that's been sitting around for ages. This one is a 1958.

Nice! Not entirely sure where to source some parts but I have a machine shop at my disposal.

1964 Wayne that I repowered and painted for my service truck. Good compressor, and the tank looked incredible inside.

So years later the customer never came and got it. I decided to throw a 3 phase motor on it and use it at our mass shop.

I see you updated your thread. Glad you were able to find a use for the compressor. I did end up getting the one I mentioned above. Just need to find some time to get it going.
Very similar to yours.

Thanks. I’m building a real control box for it tonight. Just need some wall anchor and it should be done.

Did you end up needing to get parts for yours?
I powered mine up, but it wont build pressure. I replaced the check valve, but no difference. Thinking I'll pull it apart and rebuild it if theres parts available.

Well I needed rings. I did find them. 55 dollars total for low and high pressure. I bought bearings on cross reference and I didnt need valves but I think emglo will fit the high pressure discharge.
