WAYNE DALTON opener parts

OK here we go again, Wayne Dalton is out of business I am told and I cannot get a new trolley, goes anyone have any ideas if any of the other door opener manufacturers will their trolleys work in place of mine, I have been told that maybe GENIE trolley might work, any body got any ideas. I have been on the internet for days and cannot find any W/D trolley parts, somebody must have something similar that will work!

Ok because of all the great info & replies from yesterday I have decided to replace my WAYNE DALTON opener - - - - now what do I get, I have a 16' 4 section metal door, I am thinking about a 3/4 horse power what about the belt drive? I want smooth & quiet, thanks for all the replies and help !

I love my belt drive quiet craftsman opener with battery back-up.

Give it up man! Why spend even a dime on an opener you won't find parts for the next time it fails? I worked for WD for many years, they were nothing to write home about when new. I could buy them cheaper than other brands, but NEVER sold one to my customers. That should tell you something!

Wayne Dalton was purchased by Overhead Door. Maybe try them?

I called Virginia Door couple of days ago and they said they were dealing Wayne Dalton Doors in our area.

WD never went out of business. They got out of the opener business, and their door division was bought by Overhead.
