For some reason I cannot reply to wcp0611 thread where he is selling off a lot of Carlyle tools.
Just wanted to pass along what happened. I bought the 1/2" drive metric impact master set as well as the hex socket set. He gave me a great price on everything, combined shipping, FAST shipping, well packaged, etc.
I opened up the metric impact set and was missing the 19mm deep impact. A little disappointing but knowing the deal he gave me, I would still be ahead buying one myself. Wasn't upset, again he is shipping these tools below retail. Shot him a PM and just asked that he poke around a bit and see if he had it lying around. He said what I suspected already, it was a new set and the socket shouldn't be missing (it had the original cardboard sleeve around the blow molded case). Within hours he had gotten onto NAPA's website and had one drop shipped to my home.
Told him as much it was not a deal breaker and I wasn't going to make a stink about it, just see if it may be lying around. Didn't matter.
William is a stand up guy and anyone hesitant about sending a relative stranger $$ over paypal needn't worry with him. Great experience, great forum, great guy.
Thanks again William. LOVE the Carlyle impact sockets. SO much better than the budget ones I bought 20 years ago trying just to buy anything rated for impact with no extra money. That hex socket set will have a permanent home next to my motorcycle lift.
