Congrats! It's awesome being a home owner. Be sure to post more pics when you get a chance. Lots of great ideas to make a good starter garage into an awesome one. You will be addicted....just like the rest of us. lol

One piece of advice...not that you asked...go to bankrate.com and use their mortgage calculator to figure out how much extra PRINCIPLE you have to pay each month to reduce your mortgage to a 15yr note. You'd be surprised...usually it's only a couple hundred bucks and saves you tens of thousands in interest!

Seriously, congrats on the house. It is so wonderful to get a garage. Take a serious look at the shelving in the garage and think about ripping it out. I usually find that the home made shelving is tempting to keep but not what I really want for the long run. In the past I would have been happier to just rip it all out in the first place.
