All metal ones are pretty decent. Plastic type will get warped or sag over time.

Personally I like the flush type.

Like this type:

I've got one in my F250 and have no problems with it. Never noticed any moisture in it, locks work great. I'm actually looking for the bigger(front to back dimension) one for my truck but most I find are the silver and I want a black one.

In my experience I have not found a better tool box. We use them all the time and they are top notch, and also have accessories that others dont. It would take some sweet talking to convince me that there is anything better on the market as far as truck tool boxes.

Go with the Weather guard you cant go wrong. I cheeped out once and purchased a inferior one once because it was half the price. To this day I wish i spent more money and had gotten another weather guard. O well live and learn.

But does others sealed? I know Dee Zee isn't like you said, because my friend have on his truck. Though it's a good box for what it is.

I prefer Pro Tec for my truck boxes. They are based in Wa. and Tn. They are the best there is!

We spec Rawson Koenig boxes on our trucks, $$$ but well built boxes. I also agree that plastic boxes are not very good as tool storage. I once saw a kid at the racetrack cut the lid off his plastic box with a pocket knife, he had lost his keys and his nomex was in the box.

Not sure what you mean by "But does others sealed?" I like the box and it wasn't cheap, just bummed that after the last storm water got in

Also check out Cam-Locker.

They are great boxes as well and have some great options weatherguard doesn't have.

I wouldn't own anything other than a Weatherguard or Cam-Locker.

I bought a Weatherguard back in 2006, just before I retired. It is absolutely the best crossover box that I have ever had on a pickup truck. The latches are strong and the seals are water tight. I did get an infestation of carpenter ants in the box but my shop vac took care of that "little problem".

I think they are the best box available for securing the tools with which you make your living. They are even a good choice if you just kinda like the tools with which you once made a living and still not wish to have to replace.:D
