Hey there, Im getting ready to get serious about having a nice sized " detached" garage built ( stand alone but connected with breezeway). It was brought up to me to think about using weathered steel for the exterior siding. I was already planning on doing the garage doors in that finish, but now maybe I'll just flip flop my entire color scheme and have painted doors with weathered walls. I'm here in the southwest so it's all the rage right now and I personally like the look. My fence will be built of weathered steel sheet also. There's a few killer garages out there done up in similar fashion. I was curious if anyone on here as done it and if so any drawbacks or something you would change?
