Hello all. I just acquired this Parts Bin. It is a Weatherhead Hydraulic Hose assortment. None of the original parts are in it, but alot of the original parts cards, names where gathered in the drawers. Supposed to have 192 Bins total but 22 are missing. Everything I have found online is about much smaller unit. I am wondering how old this is and if there is anywhere I can buy some replacement bins. I would like to buy about 30 of them. I love the style and size of this unit. What do you all think.

Mike

That is a nice one, you may be SOL on the bins. It isn't the end of the world though, you could just leave the bottom row empty.

had one like that in an auto parts place that I worked at in the 80's / ours was in perfect shape , it was full of brass fittings ..damn, brings back memories.. might be a tough find to get those drawers . Ours had a black stand it sat on too.

I got it from a shop closing its doors. Ironically it was located next to a NAPA that has been around for a long time and I know they custom made Hydro Lines. I am sure this came from them long time ago. I already removed all the bins, going to pressure wash the cabinet and then soak/clean the bins I have. Will update once its cleaned up.

Its an old Bin Stock unit, Haven't seen one like that in quite a while, most of the newer ones use larger bins. Best bet would be to look up local hydraulic hose shops and see if any are Weatherhead distributors. They might be able to still order then, though I kind of doubt it.

That is all based on the buyer. I would pay about $100 for it, but if it had the hardware in it, that would be a different story.

nice organizer, who cares about the trays, sure you could find something similar somewhere that would work.

I have to dig for some pics but I have a wall-mount Weatherhead lighted sign that says "Hydraulic Hoses Made Here" that matches your cabinet. Scored that for free back when I worked at Carquest, it was sitting in a pile of rubber shavings under the chop saw we used to cut the hose, surprised it never melted or caught fire...lol.
