Anyone have a good source or brand for good quality heat shrink **** connectors? I used to work on heavy trucks and trailers constantly repairing or installing updated lighting and when i went to parts guy to get connectors im pretty sure the brand we used was perma-seal but anyway after crimping it took very little heat from my micro torch and they sealed right up.later on ive bought from car quest from behind the counter and they worked as well.now since they sold to advance i cant find any quality.ive bought Gardner bender from do it best and by the time you get them to shrink there scorched or wires are burnt around them.ive repaired wiring where i need these type connectors for a long time and know how to do the correct way .i just had a good supply thats ran out and dont know if good quality connectors are still made.thanks if you recommend a name brand or retail place

Thanks for the site references. Kind of high at 6.99 for 10 i thought.i took i wild guess and googled perma-seal **** connectors turns out that was the brand and the reason we used them they shrink at 90 degrees heat from a gun or torch plus they are adhesive lined.so really no chance of damaging wiring in tight spots.i had a supply for a long time and the quality was top notch so easy to use.ive even tried Thomas and Betts and no where near as good.oh when i googled i site popped up that carried perma-seal @ del city.net im sure there are others tho.

I've use the weatherproof **** connectors from Harbor Freight to repair the coil pick-up wires on my motorcycle. They are adhesive lined and shrink with a heatgun.

I use Ancor connectors. They're 'marine' grade and while they are more spendy, it's worth it to me to not have to go back and repair a connection. One and done. You can find them on Amazon...

Like MF, I use only Ancor or marine grade connectors, and for the same reason...they work...drag cars, boats, bikes, etc

I look for closeouts, business closures - but buy a lot from

https://www.genuinedealz.com/

prices are good and they do have other brands as well.
