Weaver W-PRO10

Hello all! My shop is nearing the point that I can install a 2 post lift. I was dead set on a Bendpak XPR-10a-lp, but knowing it is produced in China(as well as many others), I feel like it is a little overpriced.
Then I happened to find the Weaver W-Pro10. At first I was concerned that it wasn't asymmetrical, but after comparing the specs, I see that the arms are designed to give the benefits of a asymmetrical lift without the loss of drive through area.
I am aware that the Weaver is also produced in China, but it appears to compete, very well, with the Bendpak. The Weaver is about $400 less than the Bendpak and I can pick it up and save much of the head ache(shipping damage) involved when shipping heavy equipment.
Another advantage that the Weaver has is the 3 5/8" minimum pad height.
I have found very little info from owners of the Weaver and was hoping for some input.

I attempted to buy an American made Challenger lift, but (to make a long story short) the delivery got delayed over four weeks after waiting four weeks and then totally messed up. I drove twenty miles to a Greg Smith Equipment dealer and bought a similar lift (Atlas) for much less money and the lift was in stock available for immediate pickup. I have no regrets, but i do feel sad that this is what has happened to American manufacturing.

I just paid $1000 less for my 9K Weaver 2 post. It has the features I wanted at the price I could afford with a decent warranty. Dealer is only 150 mile down the road. Gets good reviews as does Weaver as a dealer. I feel confident I'll be satisfied with the purchase and operation.

I have the bendpak and like it. Beware, the LP arms are shorter (in extension length) than the regular arms. If that matters to you. Bendpak is unclear on this on their website

I bought the Weaver. I did have some issues, but the guy I dealt with at Weaver(don't remember name) did a great job taking care of it.

Thanks. Are you still pleased with it with the build quality? Anything you would have done differently? What have you loaded on it? I am really considering this one. Like you, I am within a few hours of DFW so local pickup would occur.

They have been very good about answering all my questions for the last few weeks.

90% of the time, my turbo Mustang is on it, but I have had my GMC 2500HD diesel on it. It lifted it easily and no issues with the lift.
The issues I had initially were:
1. They sent 2 RH front arms.
2. They sent the wrong hydraulic "T" fitting.
3. The hydraulic pump unit was faulty.

The guy I dealt with sent the correct T fitting, overnight from another vendor, so I did not have to wait for it to come from Weaver.
I did have to wait a little over a week for the new arm and pump unit.

The welds are pretty clean, the coating is nice and nothing looked cheap or under engineered.

So, in a nutshell, the lift is overall pretty nice, but they obviously have some QC issues from the factory, but the way it was handled, speaks volumes.

I have had the Weaver W-Pro 10 for about a 1 1/2 years. I didn’t have any issues as far as delivery of proper components. The only thing I will say is the assembly instructions take some imagination to figure out. Rotary manufactures the hoist. The people I dealt with before and after the purchase were always easy to work with.
