Just picked up a Weber Genesis II S-435 on clearance at Costco. Was wondering if any of y’all are using these GrillGrates and how you like them? Worth it?

I'm using them on a much older genesis, a 'Silver B'. I like them. I keep two flipped to the griddle side and the other three for grilling. Made a HUGE difference in flare ups.

I have a set for my Yoder 640 pellet grill/smoker. I have only used them twice but so far so good. they do seem to transfer more heat than the standard steel grates when grilling at high temp. Makes for nice "grill marks" on what you are cooking

I have a 2008 year Genesis 640 and bought custom cut grill grates for it. They have a use, but I still find 80% of the time I'm using the original heavy stainless grates on mine.

I have been using Grill Grates for over 10 years. They make a world of difference on consistent heat.
Webers are darn good at heat distribution, Grill Grates just make them better.
And you rarely have to clean up the drip tray when you use Grill Grates. They burn off most of the drippings.
