My name is Pat and my login is the gypsy. So I joined your forum because I was looking for some info on webster compressors. The search landed me on your site a few times. So here is the question I saw an add for a webster compressor on sale, and was looking for some info before I actually call the sellor. It is described as a 2 cylinder, model 45cfm with a 15 gallon tank and a heavy duty 2 hp motor. The picture if I can post it looks like the owner put on quality fittings and also well kept. Can you also give me an idea of what it might be worth?

That looks like a decent compressor. But no way is it 45CFM. It is probably 4.5CFM.

What is the maximum PSI and is it single or dual stage?

Looks likea single stage compressor. 2horsepower would probably give you 4 CFM so probably there was a decimal point dropped somewhere.
Looks like a rather complex piping network too. I have never heard of that brand before but I live on the west coast and that brand may be local. It looks like a stout setup though.

Webster compressors were made in London Ontario. They are extremely good. That one looks very well cared for. With the upgrades it has, I think it would fetch around four hundred dollars. I of course would like to pay less. People will like to compare it to a new made in China Campbell Hossfeld from Canadian Tire for a couple of hundred more, but it would cost more like a thousand for a made in North America one of the same quality.

My main compressor is a 5 hp, 19 cfm, 175 psi, 220 volt single phase 650 pound Webster. I'll never part with it.

Thank you for the info. I should have picked it up, the owner was asking 300.00. I assume it was sold because it is no longer listed on kijiji.
