Getting married in May, our friend are throwing us a "Bedroom and Basement" shower. Lingerie and Tools, basically. I have been tasked with adding some tools to our registry, pretty much the amazon one. I have added several things, but want to have plenty of items in the $10-$50 range, since it is mostly late 20 somethings attending.

I need a few more ideas to add. The little items that are really handy, hand tools, etc. Mostly need stuff around the woodworking and machining side, maybe some TIG accessories. Metal Fab and Auto work stuff is pretty well handled minus a few specifics.

You can see what I have here: http://www.amazon.com/registry/wedding/VDC3AWV4FQ9C

Any good things to add let me know and I will add them on.

Get SK stuff. Screwdriver set, plier set, wrench set, socket set, etc. sk is top of the line and on amazon. See what you need that you don't already have and get the sk version. Wish I had a tool registry. That was a great idea.

Edit...ugh I need to read the whole post before I reply. Woodworking and machining....hmm..still get SK!

First off, you're a lucky dude.

For the machining side I would say put on a mighty mag base and an inexpensive dial indicator. Maybe a drill bit organizer too.
For woodworking: clamps! Can you ever have enough clamps?

I remember a couple year back a friend of mine got married. It was low key and they didn't do a registry. I told them I would buy a set of silverware. They were tickled to find out that their set consisted of silver wrenches, silver sockets, etc.

(Insert catchy saying here)

How about some Felo Ergonic screwdrivers or a nice set of countersinking drill bits? I would also get some more clamps for the kreg jig and possibly add the mini model on to make a better price point. The kreg rip cut is nice too.
