Attended the auction of the largest hoard of stuff I have ever seen in my life. 3 auctioneers selling 3 rings all day, from 10AM until after 6pm. About halfway through, the crowd thinned out quite a bit, and the deals came on strong!

Wright 320 NH 3/4 ratchet. Rusty but very functional. $15
Lisle Inner tie rod wrench new in package, with a bunch of hub nut sockets. $5
Handful of old Craftsman 3/4" extensions for $5
2 Blue Point inductive ammeters (gauge type) $2.50
SK long handled 1/2 ratchet, long old Craftsman 1/2" extension, and SK Wayne breaker bar. All for $10.
Snap On MT 425 vacuum / fuel pressure gauge, with adaptors. $20
Giant Proto screwdriver/pry at $2.50
Shoe box full of snap ring pliers of every type, brand and size. $12.50
Miscellaneous 5 gallon bucket of tools...Estwing roofing hatchet, few Klein screwdrivers and side cutters, more 1/2 extensions, a Lufkin 25' tape, and a bunch of other goodies. $5
Full case of Amzoil synthetic 2 stroke oil. $5
Blackhawk 3/8 Flex head ratchet. $2.50
Hard Hat Orchard heater $5

Got skunked on a parts tractor I needed...but the tool deals made it worthwhile!

Nice!.......Need some pics though. Especially of the long SK ratchet. Might be interested in it. Condition dependent of course.

Sounds like you had a ball though. Some of my favorite tool buying experiences have come from farm auctions.

Not quite a farm sale, Jarhead0408. This guy was a local scrapper/mechanic/collector.
Got into a standoff with Sherriff last summer and "opted out"!
Scary part he was only about 45....can't believe he accumulated that much "stuff" that fast!
Ratchet is not for sale...been lusting for one for years, after I lost mine back I the early 1990's
There were 7 car trailers of tools, shop supplies and just plain cool old stuff, plus better than a square city block of parts, steel, antique engines and tractor parts, and more "stuff"
Old school bus and a cattle trailer jampacked clear full...sold as one lot each!

Gotcha. You're right, unusual he accumulated that much that fast. Pretty good opportunity for you though. You didn't have to hunt it all down!

No worries on the ratchet. I wouldn't want to part with it either. They're beasts!

Extensions, big Proto screwdriver, mystery 3/4 T handle, and Lisle tie rod tool.
Found a bunch more goodies in the bucket too.
