Here is a mockup picture still not attached to the wall and the clear protective wrapper still on it.I am waiting just a bit to let things warm up so the super-sticky adhesive on the back of the foam tape can do it's job...instructions say you only have 1 minute to position the piece after removing the tape.

Thats gonna look great!
Your walls look good also, how many coats of paint and did you roll or brush it? Im getting osb on my walls and I was gonna let them age the wood look, but yours look nice with the paint. especially with the checker plate basebd.

Where did you get the stuff? I need something similar to the baseboard to trim off the bottom block wall.

Cheapest place I could find looks to be the source which everyone else buys from, www.diamondlifegear.com I was able to step up to 6" vs the 4.5" and still pay less from these guys.

mike's48,
I used an oil-based primer (per my painter) and 2 coats of latex semi-gloss and perfect coverage. He said to use the oil-based primer because the water-based ones would just keep soaking in.
OSB is fine as long as you always use the smooth side.

Baseboard is all done and looks great, reall great!
I'm applying the threshold now, will check back soon with more pics.

Finished product...

I didn't take pics of the stormseal installation because I had 2 doors to do and my adhesive was in the sun.Everything went well and I must say that is a quality product.I have the doors closed now to hold it in place, you can just barely see the black peeking out from the bottom:

Diamondplate install went very well,I made the cuts with a new hacksaw because I didn't have anything else better.:...came out well and I filed all the edges.Stuff sure is shiny...

The front wall has the steel frame sticking out slightly from the wall so I gave these a slight bend and the filled the contour nicely:

As the saying goes....I guess you CAN put lipstick on a pig - LOL! Actually I didn't see it before - but still, you made particle board look great and the diamond trim really looks slick.

Nice Job! Man that looks great! I love the industrial look. It's functional but also gives your space a very custom look without spending a boat load of money.
