Weight on the walls question

I recently built a metal garage 17x24

i have added insulation and OSB to the walls.

I was thinking of building storage cabinets on the walls, but my question is how much weight do you think the structure can hold, on the walls.

Im afraid something might give and the building twist or give out.

Attached is a picture of the inside of one of the corners to reference

Are you just hanging shelves to the walls or were you going to support the front by going down to the floor or up to the rafters? How deep of shelves are you talking about? The deeper they are, the greater the leverage acting on the wall.

How much weight are you trying to put on the walls? A standard 2x4 framed wall can hold a lot.

What does metal garage mean? Is this a post building? If so you need to just support them off the floor.

In a 2x4 building with a flat rigid ceiling or 2nd floor (which you don't have) they could support enormous weight. There might even be a standard design figure for that. But in any case I don't think that is what your building is.

A lot of people refer to the VersaTube type of structures, with the thin, widely spaced tubular framing, as metal garages.

That type of structure would probably have not considered wall loading from heavily loaded shelving in the analysis and design.
