The technical answer you're going to get is their designed to bear weight from above as in snow load which is correct. But the truth is I've had light weight things stored in mine for 35 years and honestly at the time I didn't know any different because, Well you know, I was 26 and obviously I already knew everything. That being said do I suggest you load yours with boat anchors? the answer is "NO". On the other hand a few Fisher Price doll house's haven't caused any catastrophic failure here yet. That's my 2 cents fwiw

Virtually zero weight. You want to put a couple of lightweight things up there like an artificial Christmas tree, holiday decorations, etc--fine. I highly suggest you DO NOT put down plywood, as the wood itself is heavy and regardless of how many times you explain to family members that it can only hold LIGHT items, they will load it up.

If you had the truss drawings it would say what the design live and dead load was. If they were designed for only a ceiling to be attached and there was no ceiling, that's probably 5 psf.

As I said in another thread, I live a charmed life. The 24x40 pole building was here when I bought the place. I put osb on for a ceiling, then stored all the fenders, bumpers, seats, radiator, all the trim and just about anything else that would fit through the 2x3 foot hole, for a '41 Pontiac Fastback. Dammit, now if this charmed life would've kept me from skin cancer, tinnitus and allergies, it would be a REALLY charmed life.

+1. Assume Zero unless you can get a hold of the truss designs. They definitely aren't designed to store point loads hanging from the bottoms or loads in the middle unless they are special "attic trusses". If they were designed for these weights, they would already have been outfitted with decking and platforms to put things.

I believe there is an intermediate between attic and just roof - storage trusses, though it seems they usually have a 2x6 bottom chord and are designed for 25 pdf.
