Weiler Machine drill press.

I have a nice old press drill.
Since here it's a bit OT, I have a topic on OWWM.
Any information will be appreciated

Of course I can copy here.
But it seems to me vintage is for OWWM, not Garage Journal

It s a Weiler Machine made in Woodstock, Ontario.

If you have any idea about the age or the compagny, I will appreciate.

Those show up occasionally, there is another on OWWM.

They are no longer in business as far as I can determine, production numbers were very low.

I found mention of a Weiler press drill in a 1949 book, in Toronto.

"Canada Lumberman, Volume 69".

Any drill press needs a light.

So I used an old lamp payed 2$.
The flexible part comes from a junk halogen light.
The bulb support/deflector comes from an "Emergency" sign with baterry.
The fixation was made with aluminium after cuting the lamp.
The switch is new

But most of the time the door is open and she is free to go where ever she wants.
Of course, the power part of the electronic has been removed
