I found it REAL easy to get used to.....it's a fantastic changeTook a bit of getting used to, familiar with it now. Not really a big change.

It is almost painful going to sites that are still using VB.
this may have been covered already . to go to the first post (when there are new posts in the thread), click on the date the original post was created . when there are no new posts, clicking on the title takes you to to the first post

I should have mentioned this earlier since it was an instant improvement for me - but I really like it. Most things are easier to do - it's more readable - it scales nicely with different monitors and formats. I spend a lot of time on a tablet and it's way better for that format in either landscape or portrait.
And maybe it has nothing to do with the change - but I haven't seen a flood of spam since it happened? I understand that anyone can create a new account and go at it but I'm sure the tool kit is more robust with this software.

Spam is dealt with in two ways now:
1. Automation gets about 90% of it before you guys can see it...
2. If it does get through, it's a single click from a moderator...
This feature alone was worth all the work. Sincerely.

I can tell you that I, personally love the format so much I am spending a ton more time here. Can't wait until the HAMB gets this setup!No... it's real traffic. The increase in pageviews is higher than the increase in uniques - but both are considerably higher. I think maybe the novelty of a new site is having some effect.

I got a pretty good reprimand for reporting spam once. I think the moderator confused the report as posting in the spammers thread. I know the moderators see the site differently than we do, so I assumed it was an easy mistake to make.Glad the spam was fixed for the most part. I don’t mind reporting when I see it. I have to pile on, concur, too. I'm viewing this on my 55" TV and still having reading trouble that I don't get elsewhere.I hate to pile on, but I concur. A lot of us are old guys with old vision, and would prefer a font where an e and a c are more distinct.
Other than that, though, I think the new site looks pretty nice.

If you are viewing this forum on a 55" TV/monitor and still have issues reading it, I would suggest one of 2 things, move closer to the screen or a trip to your eye doctor.

The apps are being phased out in favor of using the mobile website.I used the garage journal app independently of Tapatalk. This no longer seems to work. Is that something that is not coming back?
