Yes, what Mike said!
It's going to hit 64° today, in North West Wyoming. I don't ever recall temperatures like this here.....I'll consider it my Christmas gift this year!

Same here along the Wasatch Front, low 60's all weekend and we broke some records over the weekend. Supposedly another one today if their projections are correct.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Dan.

Thank you gentlemen.

I got up to 85°F (29.5°C) here today. That's about 20° warmer than average.

But it was a great day to take the little car out to run errands!

:3gears: WOO-HOO!

I've been eyeing those as a potential replacement to the Flex in a few years... I'm not usually a red guy, but that looks sharp!

Thanks Brad! I have had white Explorers for the past 30 years. I needed a change and I really like this color.

A good change indeed. Any particular reason for picking the ST package? I haven't really done my research on what the difference is between the trim levels, I just know that I really like how the ST's look.

I tend to go with black or dark gray on my cars. Dad always gives me a hard time about it, even though it's not true (I've owned a purple Jeep ZJ, a khaki green Jeep WK, and a silver Ford ******). When he bought his F150 a few years ago, it was dark gray - the same color as my Flex. Naturally, I had to give him **** about it. His response was pretty good though (and likely prepared ahead of time). He told me the reason he chose that color was so that he could sucker me into buying it off him when the time comes to replace it. A valid point... I do like how his truck looks.

I really do like the look of the ST version but the biggest reason was the motor. 400hp is a lot of fun.

Congrats on the new truck, looks great!

My dad has the generation Explorer you traded in, and an Expedition before that. They are good vehicles, I am always amazed how well the Explorer does in snow.

Still have our "last of the good Explorers": a 2010 EB 4x4. Maybe thanks to many 4.6 engine oil , transmission, brake, power steering fluid changes and other maintenance items. Oh and no salted roads.

Good maintenance is always a good/great thing! And not having salted roads. I had a 2006 with the 4.6, wasn't a big fan of that weezer but other than that, it hung in there. I get a new Explorer about every 10 years. This is the start of the fourth decade. Fingers crossed.
