That was just what I was thinking.

I don't see why this cannot be salvaged and serviceable.

well, it's gonna be some work.

first, you have to cut off all the darkened stainless tubing, then make up the length with new tubing **** welded on.

stainless is not mild steel. once you over head it, there's no way back, specially when exposed to air. there's something bad called "hydrogen embrittlement". it will rust and it will break.

I joined the CAF. New welder help.
