Its an Enco, spins at a higher rpm than the usual 12" disc sanders which is good for metal materials. Made in Taiwan, and for 200 bucks its pretty decent.
Alfadan, yes time its hard to come by, and I spred the project out over the week and did things like cutting parts afterwork when an hour or two came available.
I've been wanting a sander like that ... I about fainted at the price of the sanding disk's ... it appears that the sander is the cheap part of the deal ...
Not that I doubt your welding skills but I really do hope they're up to snuff.......otherwise that dip station could lead to a world of pain should a weld break!!
